Thanks a million for your support…….

I have received a number of text messages and calls in response to my interview which was aired live on Irie Jam 93.5 FM Radio, On Sunday August 14th 2016.
I thank everyone who was tuned in, for their support in listening, as I had the opportunity to announce the publication of my
New Book titled: Jamigrant-the story of a Jamaican immigrant.

My book will be available on September 1, 2016 on Amazon Europe and USA, as well as online Bookstores. It will be available in both electronic format and hardcopy.

I have been working on this project for some time now, and am extremely proud to have employed the drive, discipline, enthusiasm and determination it took to see it through. This is my first Publication and will certainly not be my last, as I intend to nurture my passion for writing.

In a nutshell, Jamigrant is a narrative non-fiction memoir which details my experiences through Immigration, the Criminal Justice System and Teaching.
It documents authentic events along these three pathways. In Jamigrant I have written passionately to share the tough, smart, ambitious side of me as an Immigrant who
has been unwilling thus far in my life, to have sacrificed leaving my home in Jamaica, for nothing.

I believe I do owe it to everyone with similar character and determination, to use whatever source there is at my disposal (in this case my writing),
to shed some much needed light on the hidden cracks or pitfalls along the road to success. The American dream can be realized. How we define happiness and success determines when we embrace this Dream.
The light I have emitted through Jamigrant, will hopefully help others to charter their courses carefully as they make life-changing decisions, (be it immigration or another significant decision).

Also, through my experiences in Jamigrant, some of the disheartening deficiencies of the Criminal Justice System have been highlighted. Finally, Change and Reform are two common themes which are present in my Book. Teaching presents to be one excellent way of contributing to this much needed change.

Hope remains on the horizon.
